This is the one that introduces the action figure heroes of the Stop-Motion Theater. It starts in the TV station, where a couple of drunk station engineers leave for the night without turning anything off. After they go, a box on the shelf pops open - and out comes Luke, Han, Chewie, and Leia. They spot a team of Jawas attempting to steal some station equipment, and Chewie chases them. As the rest attempt to turn off all the equipment, they're attacked and helped by lots of strange characters, including Spider-Man, the dancing troopers, and the alien fron Aliens. But everything works out in the end to the usual disco-dancing conclusion.

COMMENTARY

This one started the whole stop-motion thing, and was probably our most popular movie until the sequel was produced. In fact, with the sequel being superior in most every way, this one kind of gets lost, with most people nowdays unable to remember it. Not the greatest movie, but a good first step.-Alan Winston
